Digital assets have crossed the threshold from speculative conversation to boardroom agenda item. CFO awareness is near-universal, yet active adoption remains in the single digits. The gap isn't skepticism. It's friction.
In this session, Mark Johnson, Chief Product Officer at Ripple Treasury, and Elizabeth St-Onge, Managing Director, Head of Digital Assets Product & Strategy, TD Securities, will walk corporate treasury leaders through the practical realities of getting started with digital asset infrastructure, without overhauling your current systems, hiring blockchain expertise, or taking on balance sheet risk before you're ready.
Drawing on complementary perspectives from a treasury technology provider and a financial institution, they’ll connect institutional realities (governance, risk, and operating model) with the practical capabilities of modern digital-asset rails, bridging strategy to execution.
You'll leave with a clear-eyed view of where digital rails fit into your existing treasury workflows, and a concrete framework for piloting value on a single use case before you scale.
Key topics covered:
- Why the stablecoin adoption curve mirrors every major technology shift treasury has navigated before, and what that means for timing
- The four operational friction points digital rails solve today: visibility, yield on idle cash, cross-border settlement and on-chain access
- How to get started without new vendors, new custody relationships, or months of integration work
- A phased Educate-Pilot-Expand framework used by leading treasury teams to build internal proof points and board-ready data
This session is designed for CFOs, Treasurers and Controllers at mid-to-large enterprises who want to understand the landscape clearly and identify the single use case that makes the most sense to pilot first.
